PawGuard
Our mission
Most pets are found within a kilometre of home. The problem has never been distance. It is that the people close enough to help have no idea to look. PawGuard exists to close that gap: set your pets up once, and if the worst happens the alert goes straight to the owners around you.
Who we are
PawGuard started with a dog that got out through an open gate and a neighbourhood that had no way to hear about it. It is built by pet owners who wanted the hour after that to go differently, for everyone on the street.
What we hold to
- A missing-pet alert is worth most in the first few hours, so every screen is measured against how fast it gets one out.
- PawGuard works from a suburb, not a pin. A lost-pet app has no business being a map of where people live.
- A pet is found by the person two streets away, so everything is ranked by how near it is to you.
- Ads can support the service, but personal data is never sold. The people using it are the customers, not the inventory.
Because every pet deserves a safe way home.
Join in
PawGuard gets better with every owner who joins, because the network that finds a pet is the one already nearby.
